Evaluation of proposed development site.
The two trenches excavated revealed only a single shallow pit or ditch terminus, the fill of which contained a small handmade iron nail of uncertain date.
Subsoil deposits were present in both trenches, although there was also some evidence for modern disturbance of the site.
No unstratified finds were recovered.
