Full Description
March 2020. Trial Trench.
Evaluation of proposed development site.
The single trench excavated revealed a north-to-south aligned ditch. Dating evidence was limited to two fairly undiagnostic pottery sherds, one most likely Roman in date and the other medieval.
No unstratified finds were recovered.
See report (S1) for further details.
