Civil Parish HOCKWOLD CUM WILTON, WEST NORFOLK, NORFOLK

Map

August 2018. Watching Brief.
Monitoring of groundworks associated with construction of extension to existing dwelling and new garage.
The footing trenches excavated revealed a north-west to south-east aligned possible ditch and a probable pit, neither of which produced any finds. The pit was however cut through the topsoil layer and therefore almost certainly modern.
No unstratified finds were recovered.
Information from draft report. Final version awaited.
