Summary
This wood is said to contain a large number of Bronze Age barrows with trees growing on top of them. No barrows could be identified when the wood was visited in 1979.

Wood said to contain 'large numbers of tumuli, many which have trees growing on top of them. Information from Landowner.'
Note on (S1).
No sign in wood of oak, holly and birch.
