Summary

Metal-detecting in 2022 recovered two Roman silver coins likely to have been part of a small 3rd-century coin hoard discovered nearby during excavations in 1973 (see NHER 1007).

2 Roman coins. These silver denarii are a probable addenda to the 'Scole Hoard' - a hoard of 4 coins found approximately 50m to the south-west of this location in 1973, during excavations that took place prior to the construction of these houses.
