Summary

A geophysical survey of this site in 2012 identified a number of linear and discrete anomalies that potentially represent archaeologically-significant remains. These anomalies were though relatively weak and somewhat amorphous, meaning that a natural origin cannot be ruled out.

Magnetometer survey of part of large proposed development area (Area 1).
This survey identified no responses of definite archaeological significance. A number of linear and discrete anomalies were however identified that may potentially represent infilled features such as pits and ditches. It is however noted that these anomalies were relatively weak and generally somewhat amorphous, meaning that a natural origin cannot be ruled out.
