Summary

Metal-detecting at this location in 2021 recovered two Late Iron Age coins that are of the same rare type and therefore probable lost or deposited at the same time. Two additional coins of a similar age are potentially part of this hoard.

Found within an area measuring approximately 240m by 75m:
4 Late Iron Age coins; all silver units dating to c. 10-40 AD. Two of these coins are rare Plouviez types and therefore probably lost or deposited together. The other coins are potentially part of the same hoard.

This probable coin hoard was returned to the finder after being disclaimed as Treasure (Ref: 2021 T955).
