Summary

A watching brief maintained during the excavation of a new drainage dyke at this location in 2009/2010 recorded no archaeologically-significant features or deposits. A small assemblage of unstratified post-medieval to modern finds was recovered.

Maintained during the excavation of a new drainage dyke as part of the Broadland Flood Alleviation Project (Compartment 7).
No archaeologically-significant features or deposits were observed.
Unstratified finds were limited to a small assemblage of post-medieval and post-medieval/modern pottery, fragments of post-medieval clay tobacco pipe and an undated ?brass strip of uncertain function.
