Summary

This crenellated brick garden wall and its four towers date to c.1830, making them contemporary with the pedestrian gateway to the west (NHER 66889). The towers are square in plan with moulded brick arched corbel tables and stepped crenellations. One serves as an entrance porch.

Listing Description excerpt:
"Garden wall with four towers. Circa 1830. Probably by J. C. Buckler. Brick. Crenellated wall. Towers square in plan with moulded brick arched corbel tables and stepped crenellations. One tower serves as entrance porch. Included for group value."
