May 2015. Geophysical Survey.
Magnetometer survey of proposed development site.
This survey identified no anomalies of obvious archaeological significance.
A series of slightly west of north-to-south aligned linear anomalies were recorded in all three of the fields examined are likely to be agricultural in origin. Although a number of shorter, differently-aligned linear trends were also noted these are also probably of agricultural or possibly natural origin (although an archaeological source cannot be entirely ruled out).
Numerous small-scale ferrous responses were likely to represent modern iron debris on or close to the surface.
Information from draft report. Final version awaited.
