Aerial photographs taken in 1944 and 1945 (S1)-(S2) shown a Type 24 pillbox at TG 4969 1703, in the south-west corner of the military camp that occupied a pre-existing holiday camp during World War Two (NHER 27370).

Assessment of potential impact of proposed development at former Pontins Holiday Camp.
During a site visit undertaken as part of this study a mound was noted at this location, which potentially covers the surviving remains of this pillbox.
