Summary

A watching brief maintained during the construction of several new dwellings at this location in 2022 recorded an undated ditch and a possible linear feature of uncertain nature.

June and September 2022. Watching Brief.
Maintained during groundworks associated with construction of three new bungalows and associated garages.
The foundation trenches revealed an undated north-to-south aligned ditch. Another possible linear feature was recorded in section to the west, although this was possibly the remains of a hedgerow rather than a second ditch.
No finds were recovered.
