Summary

Shallow rectilinear earthworks, probably the remains of post medieval peat cuttings, are visible as earthworks on visualised lidar data. Several of these fields are described as ‘doles’ in the Acle Tithe Apportionment. As the lidar survey was flown relatively recently (2017-18) it is probable that the earthworks still survive.
