Full Description
February 2023. Trial Trenching.
Evaluation of proposed development site.
The two trenches excavated revealed evidence for extensive recent disturbance, with a modern made ground deposit lying directly above the natural geology across much of the site. The only features recorded were two large modern pits.
The one find recovered was a fragment of undiagnostic ceramic building material found within a surviving patch of subsoil.
See report (S1) for further details.
