Summary

A D-shaped enclosure, of unknown but probable prehistoric date, is visible as a cropmark on aerial photographs. It overlaps, and is presumably cut by, the defences for Brampton Roman town (NHER 66781), although this chronological relationship is not certain, and it could instead be a later feature.
