Map

September 2021. Aylsham and Brampton Aerial Investigation and Mapping (AIM) Project.
The cropmarks of a possible Bronze Age ring ditch are seen on aerial photographs (S1). The ring ditch may relate to a former Bronze Age round barrow. The feature is very obscured by geological cropmarks and its possible that the feature is natural in origin. A further probable Bronze Age ring ditch (NHER 64228) has been recorded approximately 220m to the east.
J. Powell (Norfolk Historic Environment Service), 01 September 2021.

October 2025. HER Enhancement: Forestry Commission Project K.
The cropmarks of the ring ditch (see above) is also visible on Bing Imagery (S2). The feature is less obscured by geological cropmarks on the Bing imagery (S2) than on the 2006 Google Earth layer (S1). The feature also appears to be more oval in from on S2 than on S1. Although the feature may still relate to a Bronze Age round barrow, the possibility that the feature could relate to a Neolithic oval enclosure cannot be ruled out
