Full Description
September 2021. Aylsham and Brampton Aerial Investigation and Mapping (AIM) Project.
A small rectilinear enclosure can be seen as a cropmark on aerial photographs. The feature may date to the Iron Age – Roman period. The similarity of the feature to geological and agricultural cropmarks in the same area, however, means that its archaeological significance is uncertain.
J. Powell (Norfolk Historic Environment Service), 21 September 2021.
