Map

September 2021. Aylsham and Brampton Aerial Investigation and Mapping (AIM) Project.
Sections of a possible Bronze Age ring ditch can be seen as cropmarks on aerial photographs (S1). The ring ditch may relate to the site of a former Bronze Age round barrow. The features are in close proximity to geological cropmarks and its possible that the ring ditch maybe natural in origin. Multi period finds (NHER 37677) and a late Bronze Age hoard (NHER 36973) have been previously recorded in close proximity and to the north of the possible ring ditch.
