Full Description
November 2021. Aylsham and Brampton Aerial Investigation and Mapping (AIM) Project.
The cropmarks of a possible ring ditch of a Bronze Age to Iron Age date can be seen on aerial photographs (S1). The ring ditch may relate to the remains of a former Bronze Age round barrow or possibly a Bronze Age to Iron Age curvilinear enclosure. Geological cropmarks are also visible on the consulted sources and its possible that the ring ditch may be natural in origin
J. Powell (Norfolk Historic Environment Service), 23 November 2021.
