Summary

Around 1960 a glass bead, possibly of Early Saxon date, was found on the surface of a field. A rapid visit to the area in 1976 led to the discovery of medieval pottery and a medieval horse harness pendant. Metal detecting in 2006 recovered one Roman and one post medieval coins, along with medieval and post medieval objects.
