Summary

Archaeological work at this location prior to and during the installation of the electrical connection for an offshore windfarm revealed little evidence for archaeologically-significant remains. Although an initial geophysical survey recorded several discrete anomalies that could represent infilled pits or hollows, a trial trench placed to investigate the main group revealed no corresponding sub-surface remains. A subsequent watching brief maintained during the installation of the electrical cable also recorded nothing of interest.
