Summary

A World War One memorial with World War Two additions dedicated to the fallen of the parish of Ashby St Mary. The memorial is in the form of Latin cross made of metal on top a stone pillar. It was erected around 1920.

Location: Church of St Mary, Church Road, Ashby St Mary
Type: Cross (Latin)
Description: The memorial is in the form of a Latin cross made of metal. It sits on a square-plan stone pillar, then a plinth, then a two-stepped base. The inscription is written on a metal plaque placed in a recessed panel on the east side of the plinth. A stone tablet was added to the south face of the plinth after WW2.
