World War One memorial with World War Two additions
Location: Churchyard of St Mary and St Walstan’s Church, Church Street, Bawburgh
Type: Cross (Wheel-head)
Description: The memorial is in the form of a wheel-head cross made of pink granite. It sits on a tapering plinth on a square-plan black base. The inscriptions are incised on the plinth.

Constructed/Sculpted By: Made by J.R. Childs of Chapel Field Road, Norwich
Cost: Unknown, raised by public subscription
Unveiled: The memorial was unveiled in October 1920 by Mr Barclay of Colney Hall and dedicated by the vicar and the Dean of Norwich.
Inscription: TO/ THE GLORY OF GOD AND/ IN GRATEFUL MEMORY OF/ (NAMES)/ WHO
MADE THE SUPREME SACRIFICE/ IN THE GREAT WAR 1914 – 1919/ THEIR NAME LIVETH FOR EVERMORE/ ECCLUS XLIV.14/ (NAMES)/ 1939 – 1945
