Summary

A World War One memorial commemorating the fallen of the parish of Bramerton. The memorial is in the form of a wheel-head cross made of grey granite. It was erected around 1920.

Location: Churchyard of the Church of St Peter, The Street, Bramerton
Type: Wheel-head Cross
Description: The memorial is in the form of a wheel-head cross made of roughly-hewn grey granite. The head of the cross holds an incised Sword of Sacrifice pointing downwards. The cross sits on a plinth on top of a single-stepped square base. The front face of the plinth is smoothed and holds the original inscription.
