Summary

A World War One memorial with World War Two additions commemorating the servicemen of Bracon Ash and Hethel. The memorial is in the form of an obelisk made of granite. It was constructed around 1920.

Location: Junction of The Street with Hawkes Lane, Bracon Ash
Type: Obelisk
Description: The memorial is in the form of an obelisk made of granite. The obelisk has three sections and sits on a square-section plinth on top of a single-step base. The inscriptions are displayed in lead lettering on smooth panels on the plinth face. The WW1 inscriptions are on the front and right faces of the plinth with WW2 additions on the back and left faces. Surrounding the memorial are four small grey granite posts linked by metal bars.
