Summary

A World War One memorial with World War Two additions commemorating the servicemen of Barford. The memorial is in the form of a Celtic wheel-head cross made of Cornish grey granite. It was constructed around 1920.

Location: Churchyard of Church of St Botolph, Church Road, Barford
Type: Celtic Wheel-head Cross
Description: The memorial is in the form of a Celtic wheel-head cross made of Cornish grey granite. The cross sits atop a square plinth with two lines of moulding along the top. The main inscription is placed on the front face of the plinth. The WW2 addition is placed on the right face of the plinth.

2015. Restoration.
The memorial was steam cleaned and repointed in 2015 following a grant of £680 from the War Memorials Trust. Lead letters of the inscription were also repainted where necessary.
