Summary

A World War One memorial commemorating the servicemen of Hindolveston. The memorial is in the form of a Celtic cross made of limestone. It was constructed in 1921.

Type: Celtic Cross
Description: The memorial is in the form of a Celtic cross made of limestone. The cross has a square shaft with a chamfered top. It sits on a square plinth on top of a two-step base. There are decorative ram’s horn spirals on the corners of the plinth. The inscription is placed on the front face of the plinth. The memorial is surrounded by a fence of posts and chains.
