Summary

A World War One memorial with World War Two additions commemorating three soldiers. The memorial is in the form of a wheel-head, Calvary cross made of sandstone. It was constructed around 1920.

Location: All Saints Churchyard Extension, East Side of Fakenham Road, East Barsham
Type: Wheel-head and Calvary Cross
Description: The memorial is in the form of a wheel-head, Calvary cross made of sandstone. The carved relief of the Crucifixion is placed on the cross head and shaft. The cross head also holds decorative carvings of fleur-de-lis. The cross shaft is placed on a square plinth on top of a three-step base. The inscriptions are placed on the plinth faces. The three soldiers commemorated were all members of the Griffith family, related to the incumbent Reverend Griffith.
