Summary

A World War One memorial with World War Two additions in the form of a wheel-head cross, constructed around 1920. It is made of granite and commemorates the war fallen of Wood Dalling parish.

Location: North end of the churchyard, Church of St Andrew, Reepham Road, Wood Dalling
Type: Wheel-head cross
Description: The memorial is in the form of a wheel-head cross made of granite. The cross has a rectangular shaft which stands on a tapering plinth. The plinth sits on a low step with a square kerb. There is a cross carved in low relief on the wheel-head with a shallow raised panel on the shaft front. The principal inscription is on the front face of the plinth with names on either side. The WW2 inscription is on a stone plaque placed at an angle in front of the memorial.
