World War One memorial with World War Two additions
Location: St Mary’s Churchyard, Chequers Street (B1454), Docking
Type: Wheel-head cross
Description: The memorial is in the form of a wheel-head cross made of grey granite. It has a relief of a Sword of Sacrifice carved on the front face of the cross. It sits on a tapering plinth on top of a two-step base. The inscription is written on the plinth faces.

Unveiled: Assumed planned and erected around 1920, when the majority of Norfolk’s war memorials were commissioned. Additional research required.
