Summary

World War One memorial with World War Two additions commemorating the servicemen of Marshland Smeet and Fen. The memorial is in the form of a Latin cross made of grey granite. It was constructed around 1920.

Location: Marshland St James Cemetery, Smeeth Road, Marshland St James
Type: Latin cross
Description: The memorial is in the form of a Latin cross made of grey granite. It stands on top of a four-sided plinth on top of a four-step concrete base. The memorial is surrounded by concrete posts linked by chains. The WW1 inscription is placed on the west face of the plinth with a WW2 addition on the north face.
