Summary

A World War One memorial commemorating the servicemen of East Bilney. The memorial is in the form of an obelisk made of stone. It was constructed around 1920.

Type: Obelisk
Description: The memorial is in the form of an obelisk made of stone. The obelisk is placed on a four-sided plinth on top of a three-step base. The original inscription is placed on the east face of the plinth. The inscription “RIP” is on the step below the plinth face.

Unveiled: Assumed planned and erected around 1920, when the majority of Norfolk’s war memorials were commissioned. Additional research required.
