1827. In chalk pit at dubious location, either this site or NHER 7680.
Discovery of late Iron Age or early Roman pottery imported wares (S3), human remains, brooches, and also later Roman coins.
Suggested by R. R. Clarke (NCM) as early Roman burial with later occupation.
