January/February 1970; found on surface after ploughing to depth of 35cm and sowing.
Medieval gold finger ring set with emerald set en cabouchon; declared not Treasure Trove at inquest 3 February 1971.

Context 1 October 1986; scattered over area 100m x 50m immediately southeast of findspot of ring.
Barbarous radiate, copying Tetricus II.
Part of medieval ring brooch with white-inlaid bosses, Hainford site NHER 16738, context 3 but without the birds.
Henry III voided long cross, cut 1/2d Edward III farthing and half groat.

Winter 1986/7. Metal detecting finds in area about 100m across in area of discovery of gold finger ring.
Medieval copper alloy knife pommel topped by two back to back animal heads, and small lead plate; ovoid shape, one end flattened, the other missing, depicting female bust cast or die struck ?Medieval.
