Full Description
September 2023. Wendling Beck and Fransham Aerial Investigation and Mapping (AIM) Project.
Earthworks of possible medieval to post medieval boundary ditches are seen on recent (2017) visualised lidar data (S1). It is possible that the features may relate to the site of medieval settlement or medieval to post medieval field boundaries. It is also possible that some of the features may relate to post medieval to modern drainage. As the features are visible on the recent (2017) visualised lidar data (S1), it is likely that the features still survive as earthworks.
J. Powell (Norfolk Historic Environment Service), 29 September 2023.
