Map

September 2023. Wendling Beck and Fransham Aerial Investigation and Mapping (AIM) Project.
A section of earthwork ditch, which may relate to a possible post medieval field boundary, is visible on recent (2017) visualised lidar data (S1). The possible boundary is not depicted on any of the readily accessible historical maps (such as S2), but fits the same general pattern of enclosure, suggesting that although an earlier origin cannot be ruled out, the feature is likely to be of a post-medieval date. It is also possible that the feature could relate to a modern field boundary or to a section of former post medieval or modern drainage ditch.
