Summary

An intermittent watching brief maintained during the excavation of a new drainage dyke at this location in 2011 recorded no archaeologically-significant features or deposits.

Monitoring of works undertaken as part of the Broadland Flood Alleviation Project ((Compartments 33 and 34)).
The excavation of a new drainage dyke at this location revealed no archaeologically-significant features or deposits.
Although the new dyke coincided with several medieval to post-medieval drainage features visible on aerial photographs (part of a group recorded as NHER 49253) no associated remains were identified.
