Full Description
November 2023. Wendling Beck and Fransham Aerial Investigation and Mapping (AIM) Project.
Field boundaries, probably of post medieval date, are visible as low earthworks on visualised lidar data (S1). They are not depicted on any readily accessible historical maps (such as the Ordnance Survey 1st edition 6 inch map), and although their layout and character suggest a post medieval date, an earlier origin cannot be ruled out. As the lidar survey was flown relatively recently (2017) it is likely that they still survive.
S. Tremlett (Norfolk Historic Environment Service), 21 November 2023.
