Summary

A probable former field boundary or drainage ditch of medieval or post medieval date is visible as a cropmark and soilmark on aerial photographs. It lies slightly to the north of and follows the same alignment as the former parish boundary (depicted on an early 20th century map), with which it could also be associated.

A probable former field boundary or drainage ditch of medieval or post medieval date is visible as a cropmark and soilmark on aerial photographs (S1). It lies slightly to the north of and follows the same alignment as the former parish boundary (depicted on the Ordnance Survey 2nd edition 25 inch map) with which it could also be associated. In the adjacent field to the east, part of this parish boundary is visible as a ploughed out bank on the same aerial photographs (NHER 67658).
