Map

November 2023. Wendling Beck and Fransham Aerial Investigation and Mapping (AIM) Project.
Cropmarks of probable medieval to post medieval field boundaries and a possible trackway are seen on aerial photographs (S1-S2). The date of the features is unknown. However, a medieval to post medieval date for the features is probable. It is also possible that the features may relate to multiple phases of use. The features are not recorded on the readily available historic maps (such as S3-S5). Cropmarks relating to post medieval field boundaries which are recorded on the readily available historic maps (S3-S5) are also visible on the aerial photographs (S1-S2). These features have not been mapped as they are recorded in good detail on the historic maps (S3-S5).
