Map

December 2023. Wendling Beck and Fransham Aerial Investigation and Mapping (AIM) Project.
The cropmarks of probable medieval to post medieval field boundaries are seen on aerial photographs (S1). The date of the feature is unknown. A post medieval date for the feature is suitable, however, an earlier medieval date cannot be ruled out. The cropmarks of post medieval field boundaries recorded on the readily accessible historic maps (such as S2-S4) are also seen on S1. These boundaries have not been mapped as they are recorded in good detail on the historic maps.
J. Powell (Norfolk Historic Environment Service), 06 December 2023.
