The earthworks (since levelled) of a probable medieval to post medieval boundary ditch are seen on aerial photographs (S1-S3). The feature most likely relates to a boundary ditch possibly associated with medieval settlement or to a medieval to post medieval field boundary. It is also possible that the feature may have related to a drainage ditch possibly associated with a nearby pond (centred at approximately TF 9166 1343) visible on S1-S3. The feature can be seen as an earthwork on the 1940s aerial photographs (S1-S2). The feature is subsequently levelled and seen as a soilmark on S3. Earthworks relating to probable medieval settlement (NHER 28892) have also been recorded approximately 130m to the south.
