Summary

This boundary wall to the south of The Hollies (NHER 23882) is of mid- to late 18th-century date. It consists of red brick on a flint plint and has a stepped brick coping and a rebuilt arched doorway at its northern end. It was listed Grade II in 1973.

Front garden wall, 18th century, of red brick 12 feet [3.66m] high; on south 14 feet [4.27m] high including heightening above sloping cope. English bond; flint base.

"Boundary wall. c.1760-1770. Red brick laid in Flemish bond on a flint plinth. Stepped brick coping. Rebuilt arched doorway at north end. Wall returns west at south end."
