The earthworks of a probable post medieval boundary bank or trackway are visible on visualised lidar data (S1). As the survey was flown relatively recently (2017) it is likely that the feature still survives as a low earthwork. The feature is situated in an area of woodland referred to as “Dunham Plantation” on the Ordnance Survey 1st edition 6" map (S2). The date of the feature is uncertain. It is possible that the feature relates to a post medieval boundary bank or trackway associated with the woodland. However, an earlier, medieval date for the feature cannot be ruled out. Equally it is possible that the feature may relate to a modern trackway. However, the feature appears to be cut by a drain (centred at approximately TF 8593 1608) recorded on S2 which may suggest an earlier date for the earthwork bank.
