Full Description
March 2024. Wendling Beck and Fransham Aerial Investigation and Mapping (AIM) Project.
Sections of earthwork bank which may relate to a possible medieval to post medieval trackway are seen on visualised lidar data. As the survey was flown relatively recently (2017) it is likely that the features still survive as low earthworks. The date of the features is unknown. However, a medieval to post medieval date is suitable. The features are not recorded on the readily accessible historic maps (such as S2).
J. Powell (Norfolk Historic Environment Service), 08 March 2024.
