Full Description
March 2024. Wendling Beck and Fransham Aerial Investigation and Mapping (AIM) Project.
The cropmarks of linear ditches of a possible medieval to post medieval or modern date, are seen on aerial photographs (S1). It is possible that the features could relate to medieval to post medieval field boundaries. However, it is also possible that the features may relate to modern drainage or a modern service, possibly associated with the sewage works situated to the north (NHER 68045). The possible field boundaries are not recorded on the readily accessible historic maps such as (S2)
J. Powell (Norfolk Historic Environment Service), 13 March 2024.
