Map

A possible three-sided moat was identified at Attlebridge Hall.
E. Rose (NAU), 14 June 1978.

The site is now called Old Hall Farm.
The moat has now been filled in by the farmer, but prior to infilling it was noted that the moat had no drainage function and therefore was apparently genuine. The 'Hall' is a farmhouse with some 17th century brickwork, and possible suggestions of a timber frame beneath.
E. Rose (NAU).

15 October 1993. NLA air photography.
The site is visible on aerial photographs.
H. Clare (NLA), 19 February 2001.

Grid reference corrected from original (TG 1380 1550).
M. Horlock (NLA), 21 March 2003.

November 2007. Norfolk NMP.
No definite signs of this moat could be identified on the aerial photographs, although this was largely due to vegetation cover.
S. Massey (NMP), 09 November 2007.
