Reported by member of the public [1]:
Cropmarks that potentially represent the remains of a medieval to post-medieval post mill are visible on recent aerial imagery (S1). These consist of a possible penannular ditch with a diameter of approximately 20m and what appears to be a central cross-shaped feature. These features lie within an area with extensive geological cropmarks and are not the clearest examples, although it is notable that they are also discernible on earlier aerial imagery (S2). The size of this possible post mill is also similar to that of other, more definite examples recorded in the county.
No windmill is shown at this location on the available cartographic sources.
