Summary

Mid-19th-century dwarf wall and railings surrounding forecourt of 11 Surrey Street (NHER 26208). The wall is stone and has red brick gate piers with flat stone caps. The flanking railings incorporate waggon-wheel motifs with cast iron lion masks.

Listing Description excerpt:
"Forecourt wall and railings. Mid 19th century. Stone dwarf wall (part-painted); iron railings; red brick gate piers. Two pairs of gate piers with flat stone caps are flanked by railings incorporating waggon-wheel motifs with cast iron lion masks. Return railings on left side only."
