Full Description
In 2021 a previously unrecorded spigot mortar pedestal ('thimble') was noted by a member of the public at this location [1] and subsequently added to the 'Extended Defence of Britain Online' dataset (S1). The available photographs show the pedestal to be circular with an intact stainless steel pin. It is unclear whether other elements of the mortar emplacement survive.
